When Spirit told me to teach another class for advanced students, I had no idea what was in store for me. During my six-week advanced course, I was lucky enough to have Phyllis Okon as one of my students. After three weeks of teaching, I had the great pleasure of speaking to Phyllis on the telephone. As our conversation went on, I immediately began to feel my vibration rising. Phyllis has a way about her that makes everyone feel that nothing impossible if you are willing to put in the work. After listening to her speak, I immediately realized that Phyllis is a rare breed and is very solution oriented. I immediately told her that her problem-solving attitude was very refreshing to listen to. Phyllis then told me that she wrote over 80 books and owned a very successful business that she started from her kitchen table making cold calls to potential customers. During this time, she was also raising two young kids and a dog that loved to bark during her phone conversations. To say I was impressed is an understatement. But what really sealed the deal for me regarding Phyllis and her many talents, was when she very casually asked me, mid-sentence, who is Maryanne? I answered with excitement, “my mom”, knowing Phyllis was about to deliver a message, I was all ears. She continued to deliver messages to me with accuracy and compassion in her very loving and nurturing way. Phyllis mentioned a nick-name my mom called me when I was a young girl and I quickly replied with a name that came to my mind. The name I replied with was not the name my mom was referencing to, so Phyllis trusted her symbols and said I think it’s a different name because your mom is showing me pink ribbons. I screamed with excitement in that moment because I knew that nobody would ever know that the nick-name my mom referred to me as was “PINKY”. There were other very accurate references. For example, Phyllis mentioned she was given a vision of a young child’s bicycle and that made perfect sense to me. Just two days prior, I was looking at bicycles to purchase, but being on the shorter side, I wasn’t looking to purchase an adult-sized bike, but rather a child sized one. Phyllis nailed it and I couldn’t be more grateful to her and my mom. As a psychic medium myself, delivering thousands of messages to people all around the world, it’s hard to know the impact an authentic message from the spirit world has on one’s soul. That is until Phyllis turned the tables on me and left me speechless to say the least.
